The Department of Econometrics and Business Statistics is currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Research Fellow to join a highly motivated team at Caulfield Campus.
The successful candidate will participate in an Australian Research Council (ARC) project 'Macroeconomic Forecasting in a Big Data World' and will contribute to the research effort of the University as well as develop research expertise.
You will also be responsible for:
To be successful you will have a Doctoral qualification in health economics, economics or econometrics (or equivalent relevant research experience), well-developed skills in computationally intensive methods, an ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, along with evidence of an emerging track record of publications and presentations.
A background in macroeconomic modelling, time series analysis or Bayesian econometrics is also highly desirable.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
