The Opportunity

The History Program in the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies is seeking to appoint an expert in United States or Colonial American history to a three-year post, available from July 2013. The position requires an ability to contribute to teaching in United States or Colonial American history.

To be successful, you will also be expected to:

• undertake supervision of research students
• engage in original and innovative research
• apply for research grants including Australian Research Council early career award grants.
